Normand Energy
After 3 ½ years in layup, Normand Seven, once awarded “Ship of the Year” when she was delivered as a newbuilt in 2007, finally let go of her layup moorings in Bøvågen first week of January 2020. She moved alongside quay at our own Husøy Offshore base for commencing re-activation and a due 10 years classification.

New adventures for Normand Frontier
In December 2018 it was announced that Normand Frontier would work for Ocean Infinity and conduct seabed mapping and survey service.
Mobilization of Normand Frontier started in Rotterdam late August for Ocean Infinity this year and are one out of three vessels to be used for the sedbed mapping and survey service. Each vessel are equipped with 5 AUV’s, 3 USV’s and 2 ROV’s developed by the client.

In 2000 a huge potential was highlighted of the Guyana Suriname Basin with an estimated reserves of more than 13,6 millin barrels of oil and 32 trillion cubic feed of gas. ExxonMobil completed its first exploration well in 2015, also known as Liza-1 where Normand Installer works onbehalf of SBM Offshore.
