Contract award in Australia

Solstad Offshore ASA (“Solstad”) is pleased to announce that the AHTS’s Normand Saracen and Far Senator, along with the PSV Normand Leader, have been awarded a contract with BP Developments Australia Pty Ltd (“BP”) to support BP’s Ironbark Campaign in the Carnarvon Basin offshore Western Australia.

10 vessels departing for Russia and Africa

Last year three of our vessels spent the summer months up north in Russian waters, while this year the number more than doubles to seven vessels. The fortunate vessels that will explore the Kara Sea are the PSV’s Normand Supra, Normand Surfer, Normand Serenade, Normand Sitella, Sea Spear and the AHTS Far Sigma. CSV Normand Jarl are also setting sail towards Arctic waters, however on a different mission than the other six vessels and further east and south near the Yamal peninsula.

Annual General Meeting 2020 held

On June 26th, 2020 Solstad Offshore ASA held their Annual General Meeting. All proposals were approved according to the distributed agenda.

Globally, within offshore shipping, we have a lot to learn from Brazil. Here they have done tremendous work towards improving gender balance and equal opportunities. It is great to have Ana with us on the team and she bring valuable experience to the Solstad organization.

Contract award for two AHTS’s in Brazil

Solstad Offshore ASA is pleased to announce that the AHTS’s Far Sagaris and Far Statesman, have been awarded a contract with Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. (“Petrobras”) for a period of 3 years firm to support Petrobras’ exploration and production activities on the Brazilian continental shelf.

Restructuring implementation agreement – update

Reference is made to the stock exchange notice 29 May 2020 where Solstad Offshore ASA (“SOFF””) informed that credit committee approvals have been provided by a vast majority of the secured lenders participating in the restructuring of SOFF and its subsidiaries, and that remaining relevant secured lenders were expected to provide approvals within 5-10 days.

Kjetil Ramstad is appointed as new CFO in Solstad Offshore ASA

Mr. Kjetil Ramstad will take up the CFO position as of today, June 2nd 2020. He comes from the position as Finance Director in Solstad Offshore and has worked for the company since 2018. He also brings experience from the position as Finance Director and CFO for the DeepOcean group from 2008 to 2018.
